Outfit details of what I wore in this weeks vlog. I started my Dubai Girl Vlog to show my outfits in more detail but it has now evolved into some kind of video-diary of my working life in fashion. In this episode I had to travel to Saudi Arabia - so before I got dressed up in my abaya, here is what I was wearing along with the details of where you can buy it.
The jumpsuit I am wearing before I head to work on Sunday morning is a tropical jumpsuit from New Look. I only bought this two weeks ago so I imagine it is still in stock, if not they had multiple options of jump and playsuits in all different cool prints. My work bag is just a bucket Lousi Vuitton bag, simply because it can fit all of my crap in it. It's huge, which is really handy but I always find that the bigger the bag the more pointless stuff I carry around with me. I never seem to think that a nail file and sunblock are essential items when packing my clutch for brunch? Anyway, the last item I am wearing is this cute little gold bracelet which I picked up from Reiss.
The dress I wore to the office on Monday is from the Persian collection at New Look. I picked this up at the store in Dubai Marina Mall for AED145 and is the perfect little dress to wear for work. The material is a stretchy viscose, so not ideal if you have to be outside for any length of time as you will get hot - but I find it ideal as the AC in our office is pretty cold. I paired this look with a pair of patent pumps, also from New Look. I do think it would look better with heels but I wear flats to work as I am on my feet a lot, trotting about from meeting to meeting.
My third look is my airport ootd, a simple sports jersey T, wet-look leggings and flats. I'm a little bit obsessed with basketball jerseys at the moment. Paired with leggings they look fab and I love how they look equally great with sneakers or heels. This one is from New Look and the leggings were from Koton. Sandals are from Steve Madden but they are quite old, SM always have an array of spiked leather studs in store so I'm sure you could get something similar.
P.S This post is not sponsored by New Look. Upon review I realized that nearly everything I am wearing is from there and that's simply because I had a bit of haul at the weekend!
