A little fash-diary of my working week, where I went, what I bought and a few lifestyle snaps in between.  This week I had a very successful shopping haul, new make up and new outfits for work (both justifiable spending) plus I attended the lingerie brand, Boux Avenue's press day.

Sunday I attended the Boux Avenue press day at the Reform Social Bar at The Lakes Club.  We were served their Mad Hatters High Tea and spent the afternoon discussing our assets! Boux is Theo Paphitis (one of the Dragons') lingerie brand which has recently launched in Dubai in Festival City Mall.  The store is like a boutique, higher quality than La Senza but similar price points.  I was gifted a beautiful lace lingerie set, Chloe Lace Balconette Bra, which turned out to be one of the best fitting bras I now own.  I'll definitely be popping back to get this in more colours, as it offered uplift instead of push-up cleavage.

Monday Maintanence mondays and although most men actually think we love going to salon, contrary to their belief grooming is the most dullest have-to-do part of our beauty regime - don't you think?  This week I nipped in Tips and Toes for a quick mani/pedi to last me through to the weekend.  I brought in my own polish and this shade is O.P.I Salmoan Sand with a TITO gold glitter gloss.  I usually like getting everlasting because regular polish does not last that long on me, however I'm trying to let me nails 'breathe' at the moment so avoiding heavy gel.

Tuesday When my MAC lipstick has completely melted in my handbag and I'm at the point where I'm  smearing it on my lips, it's kind of a bitter/sweet moment when it's destined for the bin as I get to add it to my MAC container recycling bag.  And this is what I did today, I traded in my six empty packages and walked out with a new lippy to try.  This time I tried a new shade for me Faux, which is rich nude colour that sways towards a purple/brown shade rather than a pinky hue.  I know it looks quite dark in the picture but looks completely different on, it's like a dark version on Hue.  As the weather is it getting cooler and we can start tanning again I find that I need to take my lips darker as bronzed skin and pale lips is not a good look.  Faux definitely got a thumbs up from me!

Wednesday  A little trip to The Dubai Mall and I ended up in Reiss all of a sudden purchasing the Kamila Cut top in black and a beige knee length skirt for work.  Love both pieces and cannot wait to do an outfit post on them!

Thursday was a mini make-up haul at Mall of the Emirates, well more like a replenishment.  No new bits to try just a stock up on the daily face necessities which consist of Chanel Correcteur Perfection Lumiere concealer which you can get at Debenhams or Bloomingdales and MAC Studio Script foundation.  The MAC sales assistance was also trying to sell me the CC creams to go underneath the Studio Sculpt but I wasn't convinced and was nervous about the colours - has any one tried or would recommend the CC creams?  Would love to know.
That's all from me, roll on the weekend!
