A weekend escape to pure bliss, also known as The Cove Rotana. Back again for two days of relaxation time to de-stress and some well needed vitamin D.
Tucked out of the way along the coastline of Ras Al Kaimah, is a understated but somehow still lavish retreat called The Cove. With only being an hour (and a bit) drive out of Dubai, I love escaping to this hotel/village concept whenever I have family over, or just need a staycation break. The beautiful views, sea breeze and stunning infinity pools are the perfect combination to instantly zen you out. Although the hotel does have several F&B outlets, the main attraction is the simple life. Walks along the coast, cocktails by the pool, strolls up and down the mountainous landscape and of course, wine on your private terrace watching the sun set. Take me back.
My plunge neck swimsuit that I'm wearing is from Reiss (so is the hat). I'm not usually a swimsuit fan as the pleasure of buying a bikini is that you can mix and match different sizes, but this one was quite generous coming in S/M/L sizes. I love the back of this swimsuit and whilst it is not the most convenient for tan lines, it's a playful take on poolside glamour.
We stayed in a water front room, with views over the sea. I would definitely recommend paying the extra and upgrading to one of these rooms as the views are paramount. You can book directly through their website, but also look out on voucher websites as frequently deals come up which included foodie deals and spa treatments.
