Feeling Mint

OUTFIT

We had an instagram-husband moment this weekend as we were walking along Jumeirah Beach Road, taking Marley for his morning run. We walked past this sandy coloured stone wall with a Lady Boothby plant flowing over the top, its fuchsia petals looking so pretty on this sunny morning. The perfect backdrop for my weekend #ootd post.  How shameful!

Shaken Gin with Smashed Pear and Lemon

RECIPE

Nothing helps the prospect of work the next day a little more digestible than a sun downer on the balcony on a Saturday afternoon.  We tried this new refresher at the weekend and is now my new way of taking the classic G&T.

Navy Day

OUTFIT

Today I turned another year older as I celebrate my 31st birthday. I tend to be a little bit coy when it comes to the fuss and attention around celebrating birthdays and prefer to have a low key celebration with the besties. Despite that, my Mr. decided to organise a lovely (surprise) brunch for me at The Vida hotel (which I may do a post about next) but for now I wanted to share with you my outfit details as I headed out shopping for some pressies.

Christmas All Wrapped Up

TRAVEL

Christmas time, my favourite time of year as I travel home to England to spend time with the family and friends. I'm a real home bird so nothing pleases me more to spend quality time with loved ones.  Aside from eating copious amounts of food, roast dinners, cheese boards and M&S sandwiches to name a few, I love being back in England doing the simple things I didn't appreciate when I lived there. Walks in the country, crispy leaves, the streets of London and the eclectic(ness) of each and every city.
